Dr. Barbara Bower is a compassionate and dedicated member of the South Bay Veterinary Group family. Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Bower's journey in veterinary medicine has been marked by a profound commitment to the well-being of pets and the lasting connections formed with their owners.

Dr. Bower embarked on her academic journey at Lafayette College, where she majored in Economics and Business and minored in Literature. Her diverse educational background reflects her well-rounded approach to veterinary care. In 1997, she achieved her veterinary degree from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania, laying the foundation for a fulfilling career in animal health.

As a veterinarian, Dr. Bower finds immense joy in establishing long-term relationships with clients and their beloved pets. Her empathetic and personalized approach to care reflects her genuine dedication to the health and happiness of every furry family member.

Beyond the clinic, Dr. Bower leads an active and fulfilling life. An avid traveler, she embraces new experiences and cultures, enriching her perspective on life. Driven by a passion for fitness, she actively participates in triathlons, showcasing her commitment to a healthy lifestyle.

Dr. Bower's family consists of two kids in college and a husband in finance. Adding to the joy are her adorable companions—a cute little white doggie and two feline friends who share their home with love and playfulness.
