South Bay Veterinary Group
Ashley Frye, DVM
Dr. Ashley Frye brings a wealth of experience and a compassionate approach to veterinary care at South Bay Veterinary Group. She earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts & Nevis in 2018. She honed her skills during her clinical year at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Her dedication to animal welfare led her to become passionate about geriatric and palliative care, as well as behavior medicine. Dr. Frye has a particular passion for promoting low-stress veterinary visits, ensuring that every pet feels comfortable and at ease during their appointments.
Originally hailing from both Coatesville, PA, and New Milford, CT, Dr. Frye has a diverse background that enriches her approach to veterinary medicine. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of New Hampshire in 2009, where she laid the foundation for her future career. Prior to attending veterinary school, Dr. Frye worked as a technician at South Bay Veterinary Group. We are very happy to have her back!
Outside of her veterinary practice, Dr. Frye enjoys immersing herself in nature through hiking in the picturesque White Mountains. She also likes gardening and indulging in various crafty and creative pursuits during her leisure time. At home, she presides over a bustling mini-zoo, which includes two cats named Salinger & Cecily, a lovable dog named Molly, a rabbit named Cinnabunz, and a frog named Subi. Of course, her most cherished companion is her husband, Aaron. Dr. Frye's commitment to providing exceptional care extends not only to her patients but also to the nurturing environment she creates for her own animal family.
